Another Pool Of Radiance Question

Ive started playing the DOS version of Pool Of Radiance and I have been having some problems with it. When I try to cast a magic missile the animation happens but when the magic missile gets to the target it dissapears like normal but then nothing happens, no damage or anything and it just goes to the next characters turn. It also has problems like being able to select nothing in the menus. When you go beyond the choices it fills in a line with funny letters and things, although this is no real drama as they dont do anything it shows the problems this game is having. So is there a way past this magic missile problem? Also if I buy the Forgotten Realms Archives pack and get the game from there will I still be able to use my save?

You don't need the magic missile spell in order to beat the game, I didn't have to use it.
So don't waste too much time and anger because of it.

As swcarter has said, actions such as piracy and cracks are illegal and will lead to your immediate loss of all privileges on GameBanshee, as rippa32 just has. Piracy is not acceptable anywhere on GameBanshee. - Hill-Shatar
