Not really if you are Jedi, as there aren't any significant offensive Force Powers for Lightsiders. To be honest, I find that at the later levels (say over 20 or so) you have more FPs than you could ever use up, even if, like my current tank of a Sith Marauder, you have a Wisdom of 8!
That is true, but light side, force enlightenment, master Valor master Force Seild master Barrier, master speed, and all the other ones that go with Enlightenement; you can turn into quite a a tank, and also; with the uber about of force points you get, any lightsider can afford to get things like force storm, and circle of death, as they still will only cost maybe 2x the normal amount.

Yes, but if you're a Watchman then surely by definition you're not a tank as you have few Hit Points, so you can't amke use of those powers? (ooh, I feel a new character coming onn to se if I can manage it...)

A cross between the Guardian and the Consular? A Tank-Mage? I wish, that would be much too easy.

What i was referring to, in my above post; is that you said, even as a Sith Maurader; you have more FP than you could use. So, you could easily use both the Dark Side and the Light Side FPs, and the same with the Weapon Master. :)

i find your use of the term "few" to be puzzling.

Watchmen do have "less" hitpoints then the weaponmaster, but they still get 8 / level. (only 2 less) considering you get maybe 15 levels as a prestige class that's 150 vp for weaponmaster 120 for watchman. iirc watchmen get a con bonus as part of lightside mastery +3 con which makes up the difference in vp's and then some. further this leaves them with an odd con point which can be good or bad depending on your other con modifiers and stat allocation.

that being said so far the watchman is my fave prestige, nice skill set, decent mix of powers and feats. sneak attack (not so much as backstab, more of a followthrough from a force wave / stasis or an insanity from a companion)

i've got a few sith assassins in the works, same should apply to them, may even try to take some stealth w/ them.

i usualy start out as a sentinal just so i can have a good balance to get me through the game. from then i almos always god jedi master if light or sith lord if evil. if i am evil i get the best chains of dammage. if there is an enemy who can withstand alot of damage i will start out with using a master speed followed by battle meditation then crush the opposition then use a force crush then just as he hits the ground run over to him and use master flurry. donminates if you use the right timming. i love force powers more then the lightsabre fighting. another good way to use the force is wait for groups of people to attack you and your party then use force wave, battle meditation(good to keep jedi support party member to do this automatically)then throw in a master speed quickly before the charge atthe already paraylzed enemies and just master flurry them to death.

Sith Lord hands down. Even though, they do have Force Crush (Isn't why I pickedem') They do have the title.. which makes you want to be one.. like in Spider-man.. you always wanted to be the bad guy.. this is no differant. But then the Assassins have a crap load of abilities they gain.
People always say to play nice, but some of us don't like to.. do we get the corner?

Weapon Master

I like Weapon Master since my style of play is geared more for close quarters combat than using projectile based attacks plus Force attacks.

Anyway, how did the others get the Sith classes like Sith Marauder, Lord and Assassin? I've even heard of these classes back in the first KOTOR but I've no idea how did any of you get these classes so can anyone give me any pointers?

it's just like the lightside prestige classes, you need to be level 15 and very clear as to what alignment you are, if you are very light you get the watchman, jedi master or weapon master, very dark and you get the sith prestiges.

then talk to kreia.

finished the game the other day w/ a consular / sith assassin - very whammy mix. from a pure power perspective this was my most powerful pc yet.

speed + flury + either the stun effect of force wave or an insanity, and sneak attacks galore.

toyed w/ stealth + sneakattack, but it was much quicker and more lethal to use force powers to immobolize something then slash it compared to sneak up to it & then attack.

was very impressed with the ability to kill things quickly and clean, sneak attack damage adds up very quickly.

as a backup still could loop force storms and or force wave, deathfield ect ect. force crush was a decent power too but actually less damaging then a melee attack.

was also a pretty good shot w/ dual pistols if i felt like ranged combat.

had a fine array of skills as well.

Thanks for the input, koz-ivan. Never knew there were such classes until I came to this forum.
