Elder Scrolls Oblivion: Help!

This is ridiculous - one of the biggest freeform games in history, and I'm stuck on the very first cave.
Can anyone tell me how to get out of Sideways Cave? I've been through the whole thing, looks like I have to get out where I started, but I just can't climb back up the rocks to the exit. Anyone who's been here and knows how to get out, please tell me!

turn off sneak and sheath your weapon. and make sure you are running when you jump. Thats solved it for the others that have asked this question, if you are sure you are already doing/not doing these things then erm... say so and we'll try and think of something else...
