How about the fatality moves for each character? You know those killing move in Mortal Kombat? I would love to see a sorceress make a person burnt to the bone, a undead hunter decapitate the victim's head ect.
Also change the AI so when 1 monster is alert of you, the whole group will come for you.
Obviously more of everything already in BG2:
NPC, romance, spells, weapons and armours, plots, sceneries, treachery, perils, more...
What would you like to see in BG III/Thrones of Bhaal?
I would like to see the following things in ToB :
1) Jaheira's romance without bugs.
2) Jaheira's romance should be much longer (with some interesting conclussion -I hate unfinished tales.)
3) More NPC interactions
4) More than one conclussion of the main story (like it is in PT)
5) More quests, plots, spells, items, etc. (it is obvious)
6) Improved strongholds

How about some plain old HARDER puzzles!!!!
the puzzles in BG2 were ridiculous:
they were either TOO EASY (adn I mean WAY too easy - puzzle in temple of Amaunator took about 3 reloads)
Or, when the developers run out out of ideas, they start giving you MATH problems????? (Genie in circus tent)
What is up with that???
Besides, please please please try to decrease the number of bugs in the game to somewhere less than 10000. It would just be some much better if you weren't afraid that the next minute you;d be stuck in a no-exit dungeon with a key you can't find.
BETTER TRAPS: most were amusing, but the petrification trap in asylum was a little much.
I STRONGLY AGREE: kill the "you must gather your party" stuff.
Better, more varied music.

okay, here's a rare voice. I don't mind the "gather your party" stuff - but it should be graded. If I'm in a fight, I agree - no one escapes unless they are really at a door. But if I'm not in combat, make the area larger for your group to be in.
Also, given the limited time the game designers have, what would anyone suggest about their division of time and resources. I mean I like to see a good looking character and all - but if that means 2 less dungeons while each and every single class gets its own little portrait - I think I'll live with the "invisible cloaks".

i agree with everyone, there should definitely be more npcs, not each one should play amajorrole in the story but there hould always be someone hanign around that you can get tojoin your party, even if for ashort time, this would make it more realistic, whether you hasve to hire someone for a couple days for aquest or someone is almost like ahitchhiker and follows to an area, you should always be findin some new guys. More kits all over the net you see great ideasa in custom kits and many of these should be included.
Another thing, i cant edit for thye life of me and i have been struggling with kits for quite awhile, there should be abuilt in program with for kit making. Pick aclass then the kit name and description, then you get "x" amount of points and these can be spread out between weapon proficiencies or innate abilities. There should be a greater role of time, for example if you take too long to head out to de'arnise hold, the trolls will have broken out and killed nalia and everybody you can then still head through but it should be alot harder with more trolls and they should hav stolen the important stuff like the flail heads. the story-line should be more open and less constricted since, as far as ive seen in the game, there are optional side quests but its pretty straight out, there should be different paths that if you dont hook upwith the shadow thieves or bodhi in time, youll have to find your own way of getting to the asylum, maybe even hike, these are afew ideas, but i fell very strongly on this subject and i spend many alseepless night pondering on the thought of the expansion, so if you are gonna make one of those unofficial expansions and you see this, plz email jon-e-boy@cyberdude.com for some ides
