Flask quest

Post by sweetynoni »

Hey guys.
I have been playing dungeon lords collector's edition and am really enjoying it!!! I am just stuck at the point where I need to find the guy's flask, Elinire or someone. I met him in the Venturian Forests. I know it's not a major quest but I really wanna know how.

This quest is covered here in our walkthrough.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

He's north of Arindale in the Dragon Drake breeding grounds in a culdesack on the north side of the cliffs near his shack. And the flask is on the table in the shack.

Be careful not to annoy any drakes on the way if you aren't ready to fight them (see my other post on that matter). There is one that hangs out fairly close to the goblin area.

For the quest itself, you will need to fight a lot of pyro gobbies. I did it without any fire resists to speak of, but it cost me quite a few helaing potions. I think it was more from the sheer number of them than for their spells though, they are fairly weak casters. A few blast novas would do very well here - I wish I had had the foresight to stock more than one of those before leaving Fargrove. It was well worth it though, in addition to the quest rewards; the goblins drop a lot of fire staves that sell for over 1000 gold each.
