Enchanting at AU

I've just been accepted into the university and I tried enchanting some armor. But I didn't have a lot of options for enchanting. And my illusion, alteration and all the other magic skills I have are all at either 10 or 15. Some thing require that my skills be 50 or higher. How do I get more enchanting options and how do I raise my skills.
