Thanks, CE! :) What better way to raise morale for the team and excite the world (!) by broadcasting that we have a team built around one man! :rolleyes: Beckham broke his foot too, once. Ah well, my bet is he'll play at some point!

I was really surprised that the UK media made such a catastrophy scenario out of it! Sure he is a brilliant player and everybody (except maybe Sweden, Trinidad & Tobago and Paraguay) wants to see him play in the World Cup, but come on, you have more players than Rooney! According to media, even Gerrard said England would have no chance now (although I wouldn't trust he really said that considering what I know about media and what people really say!)
I really hope to see Rooney at some point in the World Cup, the lad is only 20 years old, perfectly fit and has the best possible care around him so healing will probably not take to long and I think Sven-Göran Eriksson is willing to gamble because he loves Rooney.

We must start a football thread soon. Btw, what do you think about your new England coach? I must admit I know very little about him...Boro is not a team I have followed...
