As i've played morrowind i've noticed most of the merchants carry very little cash. and now i have a few rather valuble items in my inventory, that i'd really like to sell(seems a waste to just drop items worth so much)
are there ANY merchants in the game who can actually ourchase things like Glass Jink blades or a blade worth 11k?
Poor merchants-where to sell stuff?

Here's what I do.
I go to a merchant, the kind I need with as much gold as possible (usually about 500 drakes or so), and then I sell a portion of my stuff to him/her, sleep for 25 hours, not 24, 25, and go straight back to him, then sell more things.
They regain selling gold every 24 hours and for some reason, only get's it after the 25th hour I guess.
Hope that helps you, and if you're needing to sell weaponry, then I suggest balmora fighter's guild, the guy with the shield. He has a woppin 2000 gold to spare every 25 hours or so. He has crap for merchandise though.
As for the merchandise, dunno what to tell ya, Dwemer Ruins and such are the best option me thinks. You can get some pretty decent weapons from some of them.

It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

For serious selling you need to locate Creeper or Mudcrab. Creeper is in a house in Caldera, and Mudcrab is just south of a dwemer ruin, east of Ald Sotha. Mudcrab has more money (10000 I think), but is somewhat harder to get to.

Actually if you have the Tribunal Expansion pack then Mournhold is the best place to sell things, the Armory in the Great Bazaar has 10000 Gold, the Enchanter in the Craftsman Hall has 8000 Gold plus when you enchant something he gets more gold, The Custom Armor maker has 8000 Gold, there's also the Musium of Artifact that will very rare items of your hands for Half Price, max they can offer though is 30000 Gold. Mournhold is where I've sold most of my things an have made about 175000 Gold there alone.
hmm...
