(SPOILERS) WraithGuard Questions

Post by Brer Lapin »

I'm playing Morrowind on an XBox. When I was doing the mission where you need to get the anscetral bonebiter bow (I think that's what it was called), it dissapeared. I can't use the console because I'm not playing on a PC, so I gave up on the singleplayer quest.

So a little while ago I found out that there was a way around it using a walkthrough. I killed Vivec, did the quest to get the wraithguard but now I'm stuck. I'm a thief, so my health is fairly low (100). I made a bunch of fortify health potions so the guy would give me Wraithguard. My health was 233/98 when he gave it to me and when I equiped it my health went to something like 13/0. As soon as my potions wear off I die. How do I get around this.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

I used that guide to get as far as I did on the back quest. All it says is that the first time you use the Wraithguard it deals 225 damage. If that were all I'd be fine, but it is permanent damage so health potions don't help.

I'm open to any other suggestions, if anyone's got them, but I've got two ideas. The first is to try taking the fortifies first, then after the damage happens, taking a health restore. I don't know exactly how restore's will work so I'm gonna have to try it out.

The second, which I know will work but will take a lot longer is to use an enchantment. I could make a constant effect that fortifies health by 130 and never take it off. The problem is that it's difficult and I could never take it off .

It's not 225 damage, it's 225 points off your HP.
