Cheats for a friend

Post by Sir_Greyhawk »

Okay, Ive got a buddy on another forum who wants to know if there are any
kse style cheats for Xbox version on Kotor. He says hes had the game before and was a fair way through it but then he got it stolen off him by a 'friend' (With friends like that...). Anyway, hes borrowed it off another friend now, but because that was a long time ago he dosent have the save data anymore (Not sure why, Im thinking Re-format, New Pc or he just deleted it)
and he dosent want to have to play it all up to that bit again. Any suggestions anyone?

P.S. No, it isnt me who needs the cheats and im using the 'I have a friend'
thing to avoid embarassment, I bought the PC version because Im smart and know that with PC I can use cheats :D

You're right. There are none.

oh yes there are;

-Voice modulation
Note: You need two controllers for this trick. With your primary controller plugged into ports 1, 2 or 3 have a second controller plugged into port 4. While playing the game, press Black or White on the second controller to raise and lower the pitch of the in-game voices.

-Alternate ending
Note: You need two controllers for this trick. With your primary controller plugged into ports 1, 2 or 3 have a second controller plugged into port 4. Before you enter the final battle with Darth Malak (do NOT open the door), press L + R on both controllers for a secret ending.

Oh, no there aren't. ;) Those aren't cheats, not in the sense described by the first poster. Modulating the voice doesn't enable you to quickly get anything you lack. And the ending you listed isn't an alternate, but a farcial ending, deliberately added by the developers as a joke. This was discussed up here a year ago, and confirmed offline by Bioware.

The only cheat I found for the XBox is the free camera roam. Most of the tricks in the game are more to exploiting glitches and bugs.

Sir_Greyhawk, if you want to know more, I suggest heading to Gamefaqs and search around there. Very helpful.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
