um, I vaguely recall that it's from another place that does the same kind of thing, but I could be wrong. unfortunately the photographer's a friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend so I haven't been able ask them.
Hmmm... don't think I have ever heard them...
What kind of music are they playing??
You can listen to a few samples from their previous album here at Amazon.

You can also listen to a few songs from their most recent album here at Lacuna Coil's MySpace page.

You can also visit http://www.pandora.com and enter Lacuna Coil along with Nightwish to a playlist and get a decent sample of similar music from them and other artists (e.g. Leaves' Eyes, Elis, The Crest, etc.).
If you do not mind I would appreciate that very much!

Would you rather email the archive or FTP it?
No problem. I have gmail so that's always an option, I can send large files, or I can upload it for you somewhere so your choice :)
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.

I got bored while cooking and eating dinner, so I redid my desktop. Photobucket resized it, but it was at 1280x1024 resolution.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/ ... 5-7-06.gif

Lets see here, going from top left corner across:

*My ex Kristyn when she was 15 and we first met.
*Kaia the baby girl I watched Jan - June 2005 for a friend. *My only full sibling Matt cooking next to me staring at the pack of Molson XXX which I pasted near him as you can see.
*Cover art for two albums, the first one is for one of my favorite albums, and the second, well can anyone guess the one in the top right corner?

Next row:

* Cute kitten, had to use it.
*Tiny picture of Jenica from behind while walking into Lake Michigan..2 years ago I believe.
* Under that, Domingo!
*Next to those two, a little sign I have always found amusing.
* Matt again, playing DJ at the week long party at Rachel's. I love that picture, it was just before he fell over and decided to save his beer rather than catch his fall.
*The Captain, reminds me to drink responsibly
*Artwork I happen to like and actually, that reminds me, I wanted to order a copy today.

Next row:

*Abstract sketch of Lina, her viewpoint of how she feels around me after the odd situation when she hit her head in Rome and lost her memory. It is an odd self-portrait, but aside from the lack of eyes and too-long arms, it does look like her.
*A photo of Jenica being a tease.
*Under that, a slogan from an old poster about the drug ether I found.
*Next to that is Josh, Rachel and Sandy on our old couch in the apartment I used to share with Josh and Rachel, completely and totally ripped. I like that one.

Now, time to move my taskbar back to it's rightful position...the bottom.

Why does Siberys need two shortcuts to Windows Media Player? :p

I suddenly have this urge to go somewhere, Print Screen a desktop, delete the shortcuts, then use the copied image as the desktop. :D

Erm, that looks pretty cool. What Operating System would you be using, that doesn't look like anything I've seen before. Nice music selection btw. ;)

He's using a program called WindowBlinds.

Basically it alters the appearence of that 3D bar on the bottom of your screen and everything that would associate with it.

It's really an awesome program, I'm using the Octane skin from that program now.

Oh, and I hate Tool.

WindowBlinds is pretty cool and is the basis of the AlienWare skins that you can download as well.

Interesting, I'll have to see about getting the program. There's only so much I can do through XP to change my desktop.

Hate Tool? Even if you don't like the type of music, it's still good music if you look at it as a musician. Not many bands...at all...can say that about their music. Meh, a discussion for another place.

Go to Stardock's website for WindowBlinds and other applications along with theme packs. Just remember that most of the really good stuff isn't free but isn't too expensive either.

True that! System of a Down is another very talented group of musicians that make music that is hard for most of the general public to enjoy.
