tricks for fighting well.

Post by killerracerf1 »

Hi everybody,
I ve discovered a good trick for fighting against tough opponents who can cast a lot of nasty spells. What u got to do is to use blast nova. What u got to do is to use blast nova then immediately press E(to pause).Press E again(to play),use blast nova then press E again immediately. This trick helps cause he wont be able to cast spells as fast as u and u can kill anybody very quickly without getting hurt at all.U can use this trick to kill fiend of ghazbu,Naga queen,Vorratus etc.
A trick for killing vorratus without getting hurt:- When he comes out of the tomb, stand next to him.Use blast nova continuosly.U will be surprised coz he wont hit u at all.He will stand there just like a dumb fool while u keep on taking away his life.Dont make the mistake of hitting him with the sword or bows coz if u do this then he will start attacking u.So simply use blast nova and kill him. This is the best way of killing him without taking any damage.
I always prefer a magician to a fighter coz magic can inflict a lot of damage to the opponent.I prefer u guys to chose fighter/mage/knight/sorcerer/wizard. This combination will help u to put on heavy armour and u can be able to use heavy weapons.U can also be able to destroy ur enemies with the help of powerfull magic spells like fireball, fire burst, blast nova.

You can buy the spells after you can get back into Fargrove and you take back the castle.

Another good stratigy is if you have a lot of money, buy the scroll blast nova (the type that apears under the potions menu), and buy like 500+ because you can cast potion spells incredibly fast, so you can cast blast nova at break neck speeds :)

I've found that the re-cast time on the arcane spellbook is rather high to chain cast - perhaps it's better if your primary class is mage, but my fighter/mage has trouble getting that second one off. I hadn't thought of the scroll version, that's a good idea.

The scroll version isn't nearly as powerful as the spellbook version if your Arcan skill level is over 12 (I had mine up to 20 doing massive damage), and the delay between casts goes down significantly with lots of points pumped into Agility (get it up to 80+).

What's the fun in that?

Isn't it just boaring if you use that trick (btw it doesn't work in the multiplayer anyway), well I guess that if some people have problems with certain monsters in the game this is an option, but... I don't think any enemy in the game is THAT unimaginably difficult... I fought the FOG without using any tricks, took me quite a bit of time but hey, it wasn't hard just long!
Besides if you want to use that strategy I suggest you get cataclysm and be off with it.

I justed used that stratigy for when i first got to arindale to kill a few dragons so i could have some massive exp early on in the game :D
