file transfer problem

could someone please tell me how i can transfer save game files from one computer to another. i tried and recieved a baldur.exe script error. help!!!

I put my save game files on disc, installed BG2 on the new computer and ran BG2 to create the save file, then transferred the files to the save folder.I probably only neede to move the whole folder but I like to make things complicated for myself

If the transfer isn't working you might have a corrupted save file, try recopying.
