Post by borsec »

i've completed the mudd hunt quest, i found the dead guy in luckee star motel, but at the beginning of the game i accidentally hit that guy killpatrick in the bail bonds and now i cant get him to talk to me. every time i come in he screams and crouches with his hands above his head. i believe if i tell him that i found that guy dead i'll recieve some xp... how can i talk to him? :(

I did that myself once, I actually fed on him before I knew what I was doing

In all likelyhood you'll have to go back to before you hit him (previous save) and try again from there.

Most people do react rather poorly to being treated like a punching bag... In fact, sometimes if you go into an area and fire a gun to make people panic, they will load still in a panic when you return latter! :D
I was Diablorised once. I got better.

You're not missing anything. If you go back to report to Arthur that Muddy Mike is dead, you find out that he already knows. He heard about it on the news (and you can too, if you turn watch the TV in your haven long enough). No xp rewarded for returning to Arthur at this point.
