Well, we are still going to use an adoption agency so we'll still be saving a dog. But bringing a "submissive lab-mix" that turned out to be a dominant/obsessive terrier-mix into a house with 4 cats was a bad move. We have to keep her in a pen during the day and when we sleep, and barriacade the back of the house when we're home so she doesn't get after the cats. Other than that, she's a great dog.

For our next one we'll look for a dog that has already been fostered with cats so we know it will work better. Taking some time to adjust isn't a problem as long as we know it will end up working out in the end. Unfortunately, Kaylee can never be trusted with cats.
