Yeah well...the title already says it..I keep having trouble with installing kotor I.

Translate into english:
Error: fault in data (cyclical redundantioncontrol)

Can someone with some technical knowledge about this help me?

I think that is more accurately Cyclic Redundancy Check. Try cleaning the disc thoroughly :) However your disc might have been damaged a bit too much and require a replacement.

I doubt it unless the CD has been left in sunlight for a reasonably lengthy period of time, in which case that could have damaged it.

Damnit.....I SPENT 30 EURO ON IT!
Time to download all kind of games, sell it and voila....

that will teach those fools in the store that wouldn't help me...

You could try ripping the disk with something like alcohol 120%. If it's not too damaged you should be able to make an image and then mount it using the same program. You can use the free trial if you don't feel like purchasing it.
