And isn't that what matters?
one of these days/weeks/months
Thanks. I thought it meant "one of these fours" Confused me. No status in that- it is easily done :p

I should point out that answer to the final question in the exchange I quoted is important here. We are not quite as sectarian as the Ulstermen but I wouldn't like to live on the difference :o
Thanks. I thought it meant "one of these fours" Confused me. No status in that- it is easily done :p
Well that would be the literal translation... but four could be four days/ four weeks / four months

Basically it means, I'll get back to you in a time period that should be clear from context (but I leave some margin of error) ... ;)

Oh and the phrase in bold looked like an attempt at apologising...

Oh, Magrus, don't let's bring up the clothing discussion again. Fiona and VonDondu and DW might not appreciate us going into that whole shibang again. :D
My mother's birthday is on the 3rd and Mother's Day here is on the 20th of March, I remember because the two sets of cards/presents at the same time...
I was almost a Mother's Day birth; I remember saying this before. So as it is, I wind up celebrating Mother's Day quite close to my own birthday; last year, it was actually the same day. It felt so weird, me handing her presents and her handing me some, only because I knew it wasn't Christmas. But Mother's Day is in May in the U.S., and apparently in Australia as well.
He didn't leave a mark.

ROFL. Not true, he left female heirs, just not male ones. And might I say that Queen Elizabeth I kicked quite a lot of ass.

You are almost worth a sex change. I guess that's why Nova made up the notion of his having a sister, so he could leave his options open.

Why yes, yes they do. People remember Hitler. People remember Stalin. People remember Mandela. People remember Joe Pesci.

I was merely being facetious in mentioning Pesci. You don't have to remember him, he's just an American actor.

1.But you can't open the tap, otherwise you have to rip it off the wall, and that'll break it. You can turn it, so it starts to spray out water.

2.There we go:laugh: .
