Maybe, after you defeat Jack, you should just try to leave the room. Although I had thought of that at the time and you can't open the door.
Only I didn't think of trying to teleport and if it does let you teleport, when it says 'Blah blah blah you can't leave your in a middle of a quest you can stay or reload, reload, keep one sword and throw the next one you gain in. However doing this means defeating Jack once more, which can be difficult for some (If you dont have the the right spells). Then again if you do it a lot of times you can go to snowspire later on and sell them all, 'cept one, for
120k each.

Before you enter the chamber first world save. Then go in and kill jack. After you kill jack kill your sister and hero save. After you kill your sister load your hero save and you will be out side the chamber with the sword of aeons in your invintory. then go back and kill jack but save your sister. you will still have the original sword and now you can get AVOS TEAR!
Hope this Helps

Soa
Hello.
I tried this out for myself (I got Fable: TLC on the PC) and it didn't work...
I killed Jack, and the sword was in my invetory, in fact I was wielding it, so I Hero saved, and loaded... I was wielding my stick and the SOA had disappeared from my invetory!
If you strike down you sister with it a cutscene will automatically start, not gicing you a chance to Hero Save.
I tried it again, this time not wielding the SOA when I Hero Saved, the results where the same... So I had to kill Jack 3 times (even though he is quite easy). for nothing, I would experiment more but I don't want to have my game corrupt from too much Hero Saving.
So if it does work it doesn't on Fable: TLC PC, maybe this glitch was removed in the PC version but forgotten and not removed on the X-BOX.

Then why?
O.K.
Suppose then that he didn't knew how to get them both, then why would he start the thread in the first place? Anyone could predict that people would start to ask questions about it then...
Yet I'm pretty sure it can't be done, the developers of the game should have seen such an obious error, the game itself is pretty bugless so I don't believe they would miss something THAT importiant.
Especially because this is actually the point that splits the original Fable from Fable: TLC.
So Erevil, we're all waiting...

Don't bother
Don't bother about getting both Swords of Aeons and Avo's Tear. Why? Its because in Fable: TLC, both their attack stats are the same. Furthermore, I see no point in getting them both (assuming you successfully get both of them) as this game has no dual-wield weapons ability.

''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
