keycard missing, slight spoiler

hey everyone, i just killed the robot near the crash site, but the bodies of the guards were missing, as was the keycard, is there anyway to fix this? and how important is that card?

As for the keycard, here's a quote from the Fallout 2 FAQ here on the forum

Q) Is there any use for the Yellow Keycard which can be found from the corpse of Enclave in Klamath?
A) It seems that there isn't any. There are rumours that there were plans to make it usefull, but it seems that those plans never made to the game...

That card is useless, so are those bodies. Dont know why there arent those bodies, try downloading some patch.

Sounds like he previously entered the area. The bodies are intact only the first time you visit.
