Blade vs. Dagger

Post by oblivscum »

Hey, I have a Glass Sword (8 dmg) and a Glass Dagger (7 dmg).
What are the benefits from each? I don't think one has longer length, I was testing it on a wall.
It doesnt look like one swings faster than the other.
Am i missing something?

Dagger is slightly faster, blade has a greater reach so you don't have to get as close to your opponent to do damage.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

In general, daggers are better for sneak attacks because you can get two 6x hits off. Long blades are better for melee combat, since they do more damage and have longer reach.
I know everything about Morrowind.

Everything.
