way shrine and doom stones

Post by nord-ranger »

I noticed there seems to be very little talk about them considering the bad*** spells you get from them, has any one found a map of their locations or specifics of the different spells?

I don't know the specifics, but I'm pretty sure theres a Doomstone that gives you a spell just to the east of Telepe, which is somewhere around the north west of Leyawiin, If I remember correctly it is actually a really cool spell, (not one of the conjured items ones btw).

You don't get spells from wayshrines. You go to each of them and 'pray' you get fortify attribute that last a certain amount of time.

SPOILER, highlight to read:

If you visit all nine, then I think you get something special. I haven't done it yet, am in the process but considering I got a very odd comment from Mara I am pretty sure I am correct and something will happen.
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.

Badass isn't profanity, here. But if you'd bothered to read the rules you agreed to when you joined the forum, you'd have found:

#3 - Profanity and/or sexually explicit posts are unacceptable. Purposely posting profanity in a way as to avoid our filter will not be tolerated. In extreme cases, we may even file complaints with your ISP or hosting company.

So don't try asterisks to get around genuine profanity, here. We've got a board in the US, and the net nannies have successfully knocked some other general admission sites off our host. We have to pay attention to this, and we do.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I was almost certain the asterixs were atomatic.

Anyway the wayshrines SPOILER - You do get a spell form visiting all nine, cna't remember for the life of me what it does but if I remember correctly it is a good one.

Found the specifics of that doomstone, Its called the Shezarr stone, it gives you the Shield of Shezarr which gives you Reflect 10%, Fortify Block, Heavy Armor, Light Armor and Armorer for 2 minutes.

Theres another doomstone (not as good though), its south of Bleak Flats Cave, its called the Aetherius stone and it gives you the Gates of Aetherius spell which Fortifies Magicka 50 points and gives you Resist magic 20% for 2 minutes.

Theres two types of doom stones heven stones and Birthsign stones.
The heven stones gives u a power when u activate them but, only if you have a combined fame/infamy of some amout.
There are eight stones requiring 10-70 infamy/fame rating

The Birthsign stones also give you a power but, while there is no requirement for them you can only have one.(they dont affect your current sign powers) theres is predictably one for every birth sign and the power is somthgin that'd kinda adds to or enhanses your birthsign's powers

NOTE:all doom stone can only be activated between 6:00PM and 6:00AM
