Try waiting for the next day. The mercs will surely respawn sooner or later.

I don't think that mercs respawn after ou have sacrificed them.

To get villagers to be willing to follow you, wear bright user's gear and change your hair/tattoos to improve your attractiveness and reduce your scariness.

And there have been literally billions of threads on this topic before. Try searching the forum for additional info.

yes, and make sure you keep the bright user's outfit on during the sacrifice, because it helps you get more evil points if ur current alignment (including appearance) is good.

You sure about this? I remember at one time I had a merc with me but he was killed in combat. Then after a day or two, he's back at the very same spot that I hired him previously. Its been a long time since I've played, so I could be wrong.

yeah, the mercs come back. no problem, but I'll tell you what works better. You're evil right. Go to the bandit camp and tell everyone there to follow you. Then just take them all to the chapel of skorm and sacrifice them around midnight. I doubt you'll need anything more than that.
When in doubt...kick it
