I haven't heard but I'll quickly check it out since I have XBox live
Edit: Found it, it's called the Thieves Den:
Uncover a famous pirate's lost ship and claim it for your own. Designed for stealth-based characters.
Sounds pretty cool, although I'm not sure stealth is necessarily needed, just buy it and kill a bunch of people, easy as that. Anyways, the cost for it is 150 XBox Live tokens which is the equivilent(sp?) to around $2.

They just released this week the Thieves Den...for 150 points on Xbox Live, I think. I haven't d/l it yet, cause I want to finish the Mage's Guild but they say it a pirate ship in a cavern that you can use as your own pirate base and hire pirates and get loot much like being in charge of the Fighter's Guild.

I'm actually liking this one....well worth the 2.00 in my mind....here's the lowdown blacked out below so as not to spoil it if anyone would rather not know what they'd be buying.
The cave and boat itself don't provide a heck of a lot to wow the experienced player as far as treasure goes, but new players will enjoy getting a +1 security level from reading a book found inside, another nirnroot, and plenty of pirate cutlass swords that do sizeable damage (19-23 points). The boat itself is really large. 3 levels and lots of storage room to drop things off if needed. Upon clearing the ship and surroundings of skeletal pirates from the original crew (captain being the toughest fight), you are told to head over to see another ship captain to hire a crew. This new crew of peeps seem to be the real bonus. You hire around 4 or 5 guys (at a cost of 1000 gold each),and 2 more people choose to join you of their own free will as your crew is so great. Among the hirees is a fletcher (marksman expert) who can help you train and sell you bow related items that you can't get anywhere else, a security expert who trains your crew and can offer you security related items to make thefts easier, a fence for selling stolen items to, a spymaster, and a smuggler who brings along his pet warthog named Bacon. LOL No more waiting once a month to collect your funds like in the fighter's guild. You are allowed to now come weekly and collect a portion of the treasure they plunder after giving one of them an order to begin thieving. Only other option from the captain outside of crew was furnishings for your room, which ran 500 gold. All in all a pretty cool thing to add something new to the game. Hope this summary gives you all some insight as to what you'll be getting. I'm on my way now to see what the new guys can do for me as far as supplies and training. I'll post up below in a little while.

Here's thew lowdown on what the new guys do:
You can receive training on Mercantile, Speechcraft, Marksman, and Sneak from the crew you hired. Pretty nice to have 4 trainers all in one small location so that's a cool bonus. The sneak and marksman trainers also sell spells all related to that specific skill (fortify sneak or fortify marksman etc.). One of them has silenced boots and gauntlets of the manhunter available for sale which each gain you a +10 in 2 categories. So a total of +40 available with those 2 items. Lots of nice stuff to help the thief and the bow users be even better. One of the guys has a great item for building your security rating even faster also. It's called the training chest and allows you to open it with a lockpick over and over, as it re-locks after every pick so you can sit there and endlessly pick it and level up. I would think this would be a great help for newer players without the means to gain lockpicks or opening spells easily. You can also sell your spells to the guy who sleeps next to the chest just like he was a merchant in a town. Forgot to mention that you can also sneak into the dining area of the Anvil Castle from the cave to do a little late night sneaking around as well. Just sent the crew out to have them begin stealing. Gonna wait out the week in 24 hour increments so I can give you all an idea of how much gold to expect weekly from this. Back in a bit....

HOLY MONEYMAKER!!!!
Okay here's the deal....
They came back after 7 days and I found a whopping 2,000 gold in my chest in the Captains Quarters. That equates to 8,000 gold a month you get for free simply by getting this download. Amazing bonus as you get far less than that amount (1k a month) after completing the long hard fighter's guild quest. This is definitely the way to go if you need gold and don't want to use cheats to get it. I'm glad to see them finally give us an add-on worth buying....This one and the tower were worth the 2.00 in my book.

I, too, have downloaded the Thieves' Den, and I have to say I'm kinda disappointed. There really wasn't anything to it. Like the above poster said, all you do is clear out all the skeletons from the cave. It's not even like it's a huge, complex cave. I was hoping there'd be a quest or two involved before you take over the ship. Just my two cents.
This is sort of relevent - I have an xbox but I (I Don't know much about the process) would like to know what these 150 points mean, are they the game points acumulated by playing games, or are the something that can only be bought with a certain level of xbox membership?
And lo ye must learn of the great war that raged fo a couple of posts and brought the citadel momentaraly to its knees
Lookie!
I tend to appear briefly and disappear very quickly after that, try not to let it bother you.

Not sure what level of XBL membership is required to buy them (I have Gold level), but the points are Microsoft points. They cost 6.25 per every 500 points and can be purchased in larger increments if desired (at no discount though). You can buy them using the c/c you have linked to your XBL membership which makes it very convenient. Use them to buy add-on content to games, picture packs, wallpaper for your xbox dashboards, etc. Just head to the xbox live marketplace and take a look through the game downloads for what is being offered and how much each item runs. You can buy points from there and you're all set...

Sorry, yes 6 dollars and 25 cents...missed your location....Not sure how that translates for you, but the tower download and the den would certainly make the game easier for many players. IF you aren't already nearly finished with the game then I'd advise picking both up.
On a side note, I went back and spoke to the other ship captain again, the one I hired the crew for mine from. Went snooping around her ship looking for stuff to steal and her crew attacked me. I killed all of them and attempted to finish the captain as well. All she would do is get knocked unconcious over and over much like Captain Lex did in that quest as you still needed him. Makes me wonder if she'll have another use later as I wasn't allowed to kill her. Hopefully that leads to another quest we can do. Her chest does have a few 150 gold necklaces etc. but nothing else worth much of anything on the entire ship so don't waste your time.
