Ok, its a long story, but I have a huuuge bounty on my head... I'm a member of the fighters guild so I can't join the theive's guild, what do I do? I want to keep what I stole extremely badly (glass armor set, again, long story)

Drop all of your items on the ground and remember where they are. Go over to a guard. Pay the fine. Then go and pick up all your stuff again. Thats what I do if I am not in the thieves guild :)

Why can't you join the Thieves' Guild?

I don't recall the Thieves not letting you in if you join the Fighters. Unless you did Sjoring Hard-Heart's quests, which I pray you did not.
I know everything about Morrowind.

Everything.

Bounty

Yes I remember, I was a member of BOTH the fighters guild AND the Thieves Guild, I did not have any trouble until I started with Sjoring Hard-Heart's quests. :)

If you do the Code book quest before joining the theives, they won't let you in.

How big exactly is the bounty?
if its really :BIG: the guards will automaticly attack u without questions.

so i have a plan (havent tested but i think it works)

drop all ur stuffs (exept money that u need to pay)

go to balmora for example
cast a spell "calm humanoid" on a guard then talk to him
i think that then even under the effect of calm humanoid the guard will accept the fines

i recommend to even try this if it doesnt work u have nothing else possibilities left that just delete ur char :/ at leas IMO.
555 = human
666 = satan
777 = god
888 = Skorm _ himself
999 = Skorm _ himself
101010 = nothing can go over this!
-----------------------
Dagoth ur wants U! to kill the N'wah from morrowind!. recruiting at nearest sixth house base every day 3:00pm

ps: free coffee every monday

Re: Bounty

No, that doesn't work. The bounty is a fee on your head for your breaking a law it doesn't matter HOW much money you have, you will still have to pay that fine!:laugh:

I think what he meant was if the bounty gets too large the guards then kill on sight rather than give you the option to pay.

Yes if you have a large bounty on your head guards will kill you on sight (a death warrant).

What I do if I have a semi-big bounty on my head is I go to Phane Riele (or however you say it),hes the bartender at the South Wall Cornerclub in Balmora. I drop my money right before I talk to him, then I my bounty will be gone free of charge.

Hope this helps ya

P.S Sjorning Hard-Heart quest will really mess with your standings with the Thieve Guild.

If you're on a PC, why not use the console to remove the bounty? Simply use the ~ key, then type in the box:

player->setpccrimelevel 0

Hit enter, and close the box.

That's all there is to it. No more crime, no bounty, no guards going after you.
