easy ways to get rich

Post by Darkstorm »

 OK I know brilliant way to get a master weapon just after you have killed the wasp queen!!! OK first kill the wasp queen then use that experience
to get guile up one or two levels then go to bowerstone south and buy all the potions off of the guy by the gates then sell them back then buy them back again. If you carry on doing this you can get as much gold as you like the gold you get doesn't go up very fast but if you buy all of the potions from the guild aswell it speeds up the process a bit.Further in the game when there are more shops available you can get like 10,000 gold every two minutes!!!

Another way to get rich is when you face Jack of blades in human form kill him then do a hero save just after aand you will have a Sword of Aeons if you do this several times you can get loads of them and later in the game you can sell them at snowspire weapon shop as you can sell any weapon there even legendary ones!!!

Thats just a silly idea. The fastest way to get a fortune is with emeralds. Go to the Great Wood Culis gate and buy emeralds from the wandering merchants, then go to Oakvale, buy the emeralds from that merchent and you can make thousands in one transaction. You need about 54 to make a profit. but when you get up to like 300 you make 10000 in one transaction easily.

It isn't silly. But it isn't the most efficient either. If you are starting from scratch at the beginning of the game, you don't have enough money to buy even one emerald, let alone 50+. So start with something cheap like potions or flour or something. The trick is to find a merchant that will buy them for more than he sells them (you have to have at least his max inventory) and buy/sell all of the item at once.

Once you get enough money, upgrade to a more expensive item. As stated earlier, emeralds are great in Oakvale. Once you get there you should be able to buy all of them, sleep until his inventory comes in, buy all again and keep doing that until you have a bunch. If you don't have enough to buy the next batch, before you go sleep, just sell all the emeralds you have then buy them back. Once you get a bunch of emerals you can make 50,000 in a single transaction.

I know it isn't eficient but it is rather cool on the Orchard farm quests when you run in and kill the enemies in one or two hits with a master weapon.

Cool tips...I always had to do with the place-a-trophy-in-house trick. This is much better and much more honest...thanks very much!

Wow, didn't know of the emerald trick. If I had the mood to replay the game, I'll consider this trick in the future. Thanks.

You can make much more than 30k with one buy/sell transaction, which is alot quicker than collecting rent. And you can just buy/sell again immediately without sleeping for 3 days.

Buying and selling gems is far and away the easiest and quickest way to make money. You can buy a master's longsword (or whatever you want) right after you do the Queen Bee quest if you really want to.

Just one question. How did you manage to get the master longsword after that Queen Bee quest? I thought that weapon is still unavailable at that time until you completed further quests.

I know. But from what I recall, the problem is that when I went to that storekeeper to check out his wares, the Master Longsword was listed but you cannot buy it as he has no stock of that weapon. Its only when you completed further quests then the Master Longsword will be available.

Hello.

No offense to anyone but isn't it boaring to play through a game where there is basically no challange at all?
Especially because Fable is an easy game by itself, without any tricks...
I get more kick out of hitting/ slashing / smashing/ etc. enemies many times and putting up a good and beatiful fight rather then just clicking a few times and whatching them all die in about 5 seconds.
Ofcourse I understand that you are just discusting the possibilities wich is always a positive thing but do you all really always use those disadvatages on the game?

If I remember correctly, it did say something like that or not at all. But what I did do was take lots of sleep and still the master longsword is unavailable.

I don't remember if I actually got the Master Longsword that early, or if I just bought the best weapon from Bowerstone South. It's entirely possible that the ML is not actually available, but my point was just being abe to buy whatever gear is available right from the beginning without having to worry about gold.
