Scayde says hello to anyone who remembers her

This might be a good place to let everyone who remembers her know that Scayde is alive and well and sends her hugs and regards.

She and I spoke on the phone a couple of days ago. Scayde is living in a very rural area now and high speed internet is essentially an alien concept. Her rate of connection is something like 22 KPS, and the county's "high speed" service is a whopping five times that :speech: :D

Satellite dishes, for her, are about $500 US to install, and the cost of the monthly service is something like $80 per month.

Therefore, image intense sites like GB are difficult for her to visit, and if she tries, she often times out.

I had fun suggesting that where she lives they probably still use smoke signals and drum beats on hollow logs :p

Anyway, for anybody (she knows) who would like to say hello to her, pass along a PM to me (or, preferably an email, if you have it) and I'll supply Scayde's email address. ;)
I say this because Scayde had multiple computer problems and lost her entire contact list.

Tell Scayde she can click on "Archive" at the bottom of the page for a Low-Res version. :)

I suppose Yeltsu would be one of those who fell victim to WoW...

Or if she uses something like Opera, then in the settings there should be something which stops all images loading.

You know, guys, if I don't respond to your emails right away it doesn't mean that I'm not getting them. In fact, if you think logically, if I'm not replying it's more than likely that it is in my "To-do" list. :D In short, don't send me six emails in a row, it clutters up my inbox. ;)

Yes, when I've been on GB I have not logged in, not unless I had a PM. I usually lurk and still get what needs to get done, done. As of late, thanks to a minor promotion (I mean minor because basically it's double the work for about a 3% raise :p ), some personal things and my lack of coherent thought when I do get home from work, quickly followed by some squashing of Wookiee Minions on Battlefront II, makes me believe that it be best if I stay away from GB and not dig myself into a deeper pit trying to fill in the hole I'm in with the dirt from the other. ;)

In fact, some of my other commitments online take more precendence than here. If you want to talk you can always email me. I think the correct email is still in my profile for messenger, or you can just bug Ravvy for it. :D

You weren't summoned. Go back to sleep. :p

Melancholic and nostalgic feelings are suppressed in order to keep the newer folk feeling good about themselves. It is weird how a forum can progress...

Need to be added. I've been reading the archives in my spare time (which I have alot of recently), so don't castrate me for not being around in their heyday. Taco Magus too because I love his avatar.

The newer folk thank you.
