Enchanting to easy.
Hi everybody. I have been playing the computer version of morrowind with expansions and I'm still at a low level. However, I have enchanted three items and have succeeded first time every time. So is this just luck or is it easier on the computer. The only mod I have to do with enchanting is a clean selfmade mod wich makes the master enchanter non hostile.

What kind of enchantments are you making? The less powerful ones are a lot easier to make I think. I think luck affects it too. I've never tried enchanting really though as my first game I tried with level 30 Enchant and failed everytime (and I have the PC version) so I think you might have just been very lucky

Intelligence, luck, and the level of complexity (figured, I think, from spell cost, duration, and area of effect) all affect success in enchanting. I'd say intelligence is at the top of the list, though. So if you want to make a really difficult enchantment, potions of Fortify Intelligence are almost a must.
Other factors, such as the cost of the "soul" and the strength of the receptacle affect the enchantment's size/power, not so much its actual success.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
