Pretty big problem

Okay, got a big problem playing the game:
I just installed IWD II (from copied CD, *outch*), and started playing. First few minutes game works perfectly, but then it slows (a much), I can't save: I got the message that says: saving failed, game will shut, and finally it collapses completely.

Any advices?

Try using the original CD not a copied one - it could be a problem with the copied CD. Check that your pc meets all the system requirements, including direct x. Reinstall in case it was a problem with the installation. Turn down all graphics settings etc. to minimum and disable any programs running in the background to see if that speeds things up.
