Cruise/Kidman vs. Cruise/Cruz
Cruise/Kidman vs. Cruise/Cruz
Who makes the better couple? Tom Cruise & Nicole Kidman, or Tom Cruise & Penelope Cruz?
My vote's definitely for Penelope Cruz. She's the Audrey Hepburn of our era.
Nicole's great, but I thought Eyes Wide Shut clearly showed the lack of chemistry between Tom and Nicole.

@Eyes Wide Shut, wasn't that intentional by the director (the late Stanley Kubrik
)
Personally i think Cruz is definately more....ummm....how can i put it.....interesting, but we don't really know that much about her since she is so new, i can not jusge her as a person, until i see her actions off camera.
IMO neither of them are all that attractive, i think they are both somewhat tiresome in appearence.

I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.
So does my Mum, but i don't see Tom Cruise at the breakfast table every morningOriginally posted by Crassus:
<STRONG>@ Eyes Wide Shut - You may be right. I must confess that I didn't understand the movie at all. All I remember is the lack of chemistry and "Fidelio."
Penelope is very private, but she apparently donates a lot of her time and money to charity.</STRONG>
@Eyes Wide Shut I think that it is just a portrayal of a 'day in the life' it doesn't really have a plot to speak of and the script is fairly shoddy, but it did look nice

I think she will, in the eye of the media she is the wounded one, after all the fault of the marriage is being blamed on Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz.Originally posted by Crassus:
<STRONG>Well, don't forget that Nicole has two adopted children from her marriage to Tom (assuming she gets custody).</STRONG>

God, this board is just like the tabloids. All we need is a Bat boy.

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I'm afraid she's out of luck--I'm married, and Weasel wants Cruz.Originally posted by Crassus:

An update - Nicole Kidman recently spoke about her divorce from Tom Cruise in an interview with chat show host Michael Parkinson:
". . . Divorce is divorce and it's a really tough thing to go through, (but) I'd love to get married again."</STRONG>

But if I become President...she can become an intern.

Why wait? Let's form a new nation. Then you can hire all the interns you want. Alternatively, we can set up an intern-training program. Back in the sixties, under LBJ, we could have gotten federal funding for it. In the eighties, under Reagan, we could have trained the interns in marching and gotten defense funding for it. Now, I guess we'll just have to live on love alone.Originally posted by Weasel:
