Not exactly. All you need is some accessories that helps ward off some mind affecting powers (fear, stun, horror) like the Jal Shey mentor belt (Force Resist +20, most recommended as it has high saves against all force powers) or the Nerve Amplifier belt to name a few.

Also buff yourself up (if you have buffing powers) and wade into the fray like no other.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

It also helps if you have the Force Immunity power, because she uses a lot of force powers like drain life, insanity, and whatever powers you gave her when you leveled her up. Whatever buffing powers you use, make sure you have Force Mastery activated before you cast them, then switch to Force Potency before you attack, so you get the most out of your force attacks. If you're playing dark side, Force Storm is great, or Force Wave, if you're light side. The combinations that worked best for me were energy shields, Force Immunity, Master Speed and Force Storm/Wave.

She has the same powers no matter what and twice your HP.

High Force Resist stuff is good.
If you are LS Enlightenment is good - especially if you boosted your buffing powers.
Verpine prototype shields are good.
Critical strike/Master flurry will be helpful.
Force Confusion works on her lightsabers.
Use Stims.

You can run away, heal up and re-enter combat.

cheats! thats what i use. although the first time i played thruough the game i did not. i would suggest leveling all the way up to 50 if you already havnt. are you playing as LS or DS? light side has a lot of buffering powers whille DS has a lot of offensive powers. i would suggest and equal amount of both. if not then.... CHEATS!

I wondered about this. The first time I replayed it, I basically kept Kreia as weak as possible the whole time in the hope that she would be an easy kill at the end... will she always be that powerful (I never got to the end on that particualr play-through)? Conversely, if I make her very strong, will she keep that strength, or is the "end Kreia" a different NPC (in the game mechanics) to the one in your party?

She's like Bastila in the first one. Spoiler:
Spoiler
she has the same powers when you fight her every time. The only exception was if you gave Bastila cure/heal - she would get it if you joined her, but wouldn't use it when fighting you

Along that line, When she gives you the speech about you needing to go somewhere & she has no time for questions, I usually strip her of gear. Your next encounter she will have none of it so why let her keep good stuff?

I wondered about this too, because every time I've fought her, she uses different powers on me, most of them ones I've given her when I leveled her. If I kept her weak with no real offensive powers, she only uses drain life, but no other force powers that I can recall (but then I use force immunity on my character, so I could be wrong about that).

chances are you are better off w/ whatever saber you brought with you.

what type of build is your pc?

--

the biggest problem i have w/ her is energy damage, as she can easily hit for over 100 damage / hit.

obviously energy resistance power, shield, and other energy soak stuff really takes the edge off and helps keep you in one piece.

i'd make sure your saber (s) are fully upgraded, and make sure you have the "right" combo of overlays, underlays, robe / armour, equipment ect.

i usually have the most luck pounding on her in melee combat even with my force casters - though they will pepper in some force lightning & wave. usually use power attack or flurry in combat. combined with speed / fe.

I think he meant what kind of character are you playing as (PC is often used to mean playable character) and how have you levelled him/her up (i.e. which feats and powers)?

Also note that once you beat the scab guy, no one left in the game will shoot a gun at you. I usually go back to the very last workbench & get my sabers tuned to dueling (i.e. remove components that help blaster bolt deflection & install fencing / defense upgrades).

well what I do to defeat her is just keep using force storm on her, and run around trayas core.
I don`t know what level you are, but i`m a level 26
Force pionts 456/456
and vitality 337/337

(spoiler) I would suggest the same stategy for the lightsabers that come after you defeat her.

Run PC Run !!!

You have 4 jedi after you (Her & 3 sabers). I usually run to one of the outreaches (note there is bodies out there you can loot). Then I buff up on force protection & take out the sabers 1 at a time. Usually if you use force speed the sabers hang back. You can run to a outreach, then backtrack until 1 follows you. Wack it out with that one, heal, then lure the next out, etc., etc
