The Succeeder Stronghold
They followed up DS9 with a good set of novels, actually...
With Kira in command of DS9, though they do eventually bring back Sisko too. They also bring in some new people and reintroduce these parasite things that took over people and nearly the whole of Starfleet before...
And a series following the Defiant on an exploratory mission of the Gamma Quadrant.

Meh. I don't read Star Trek novels, just Star Wars ones, but even those I don't consider to be proper storylines with the actual story itself (the movies, in SW's case). And I certainly wouldn't want to see those parasite things back again, considering that I wanted to write about that myself.

I would've made the parasites a lot more central to the series than whatever those losers did.

Oi. I've started learning C++ again.
Maybe if I don't do 5 chapters per sitting it'll go easier.

I wish I could learn programming languages that easily. I'm just struggling with NWScript.

I've heard the whole NW kit is a Pita.
Morrowind's is pretty easy to pick up (Ok, a caterpillar with three brain cells could learn it, except for the trig scripts.

I took C and C++ at my uni. I never really got the hang of them; I'm still not sure how I ever passed those classes.
The changelings thing couldn't be an extension of that, since the changelings weren't aware they could hit the Alpha Quadrant until Sisko and Jadzia--JADZIA, not EZRI--discovered the wormhole. And I meant in the books. A friend of mine said he once wrote something where the parasites were central to his story, but I never read it; he's a history major anyway. I would've made them some extension of something else, and that something else would've been like the Dominion was to DS9.
Yeah, by the way, if one of you can manage it, I wouldn't mind some Coke with my rum. Wow, this is strong.
