Major skills

im lvl 36 now but i can't get my major skills up anymore they didn't even hit 100 yet

Could you be more specific?

You mean for example if you had Blade level 70 and you used it, the skill won't advance any further?

yeh my blunt is 68 and now nothing will go up no more adv in skills

As I understand it, improving skills is harder to do the higher the skill level. So killing a few rats with a sword at level one or two takes your blade skill up a lot. But days of hacking away at city guards would be needed to raise your blade skill at higher levels.

You just have to play longer to raise your skill level once you become a journeyman or expert.

and certain skills take more work to raise than others. athletics takes lifetimes to raise. stupid athletics

Have you tried getting Training? If that doesn't work, you have a bug, imo.

You could also try any of roughly a dozen different leveling mods that are out there for the PC player. These change when you level, and still other mods change how quickly or slowly you advance in various skills.
