Chloe Questions

Post by osea_sweden »

1. Where can I find a pic of her portrait? I tried to google it.
2. Where can I install the mod?
3. Is the mod safe, I don't want spyware crap on my computer and I am sorry if this is a noob question
4. Are there other better lesbian mods?

Thanks, love from Sweden.

Watch the insulting language, guy. You *did* agree to the site owner's rules when you joined GameBanshee, and they're pretty clear about offending others.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Yes there is the wonderful Auren Aseph mod, downloadable at the Gibberlings 3 site, by the lovely Theacefes. However Auren will not romance the PC but will romance Nalia.

I would suggest that if you have any enquiries about the mod, and you contact the author/or post in the forum there, you try like Fable says to keep the parlence polite. ;)

Excuse my witticism but why is 'lesbo' libelous? Unless this forum is governed by catty and politically correct libertarian feminists I don't understand why one word would piss you off so much. In any case I apologize profusely for my 'tortious heterosexist' input. I shall guard against conjecturing such instigative colloquialisms in my future here on the boards.

Don't hate, love!

Not wishing to speak on behalf of Fable, or other staff at the forum, my comments will refer only to my post.

My suggestion that you try and refrain from the use of terms like "lesbo" was that while you may not attach ang negative signifier to the term, it has, and I'm sure will continue to be used in abusing and disrespecting the lesbian community.

While you cannot see any problem with using the term, you cannot guarantee that the word will have the same association for others, you may be inadvertantly offending people.

That and that alone was my reason for making the suggestion.

Well what if I am a lesbian myself? Did you know that minorities use so called 'derogatory slang' more often against each other than those of the 'oppresive majority'? However, that is a sociocultural issue and has nothing to do with you and me. This is an RPG forum but I think it is silly that I am attacked on such a banality and thus forcibly drawn into sociocultural debate. You know all you stupid Americans think I am from Switzerland but do I go and form a commitee to complain about insensitivity and bigotry against the Swedes? Once again, like Rommel said: "that is politics and has nothing to do with you and me" :)

One more thing, how many lesbians hang around a fantasy forum for people with inundatory large amount of spare time? Shouldn't you people be more concerned about the mod for Chloe being a presented as a real bitch than me using a common colloqualism in my verbiage?

Whatever,
love from Sweden

Its just the rules of the forum desiegned to keep it freindly and to include anyone who wishes to take part.

Are people way to sensitive today? YES
And you make good points very valid.

But as Fable Pointed out you agreed to the rules.
He was just reminding you so you can keep posting.
:) Once again time to give someone the boot to make room for Coran. LOL :)

This will be my last post in this thread.
Well what if I am a lesbian myself?
I'd say good for you.
Did you know that minorities use so called 'derogatory slang' more often against each other than those of the 'oppresive majority'?
Fascinating, but neither of my previous posts sought to attribute the term to any particular socio-poltical grouping. The point was simple, some people will find it offensive, others won't, therefore it is probably safer not to use it.
However, that is a sociocultural issue and has nothing to do with you and me. This is an RPG forum but I think it is silly that I am attacked on such a banality and thus forcibly drawn into sociocultural debate.
Actually is was an issue of courtesy, and is therefore relevant to all who post here. Furthermore nobody has attacked you, suggestions were made politely, and you took offence, and seemingly continue to do so. Incidently the only person forcing a socio- cultural debate is yourself.
You know all you stupid Americans think I am from Switzerland but do I go and form a commitee to complain about insensitivity and bigotry against the Swedes?
How ironic you talk to geographical misrepresentation, you might be interested to know I'm not an American, stupid or otherwise, I'm from the UK as it quite clearly states in the information at the top of my posts.
how many lesbians hang around a fantasy forum for people with inundatory large amount of spare time?
I don't know, perhaps you could start a poll.
Shouldn't you people be more concerned about the mod for Chloe being a presented as a real bitch ... ?
Perhaps that is something you should being up with the creator of the mod. ;)
