I joined Oblivion as a fighter, just as in morrowind. I want to be able to conjure even the weakest of creatures just to train myself against them. Right now, the only thing I know I can conjure is a dagger, and I keep it for 20 seconds and I cont conjure it again till it disapears. That would take forever to get my conjuration up!
Also, where can I get an invisibility spell, and how high does my illusion level have to be?
Any way to get my conjuration up as a fighter?

Since I ask quite a few questions, I thought it might be nice to have an important detail in my sig.

Conjuration spoiler
SPOILER
To get your conjuration skill up you can conjure your dagger and than sheath it. The dagger will disappear leaving you with your normal weapon again. Another way though i dont think its as effective is to hit some of the shrines where it asks you if you want the summoned armour and weapon...
As a side note, for conjuration, im not sure if you could make conjure (weapon/armour) spell for 1 second making it easier to do, but you can do it for other spells, so you might want to check into it.
END SPOILER
As for the invisibility spells im not sure but there is a database search engine on this site that will tell you where to find everything, and maybe the level you need to cast it. (not sure about the second part)

There are three types of people in this world: Those who can count and those who can't.
And that is exactly how you do it only dagger, helmet and gauntlets and then you cast them, wait, cast and it'll go up quickly. Then add others as they become available.
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.
Well, I got a long road ahead of me I guess. How do I sheath an item? Aso, where is this search engine? Sorry if I sound like a noob

Search engne's a clickable on the right side of the options, above. (They start on the left with GameBanshee Home.)
There's also a mod if you're on the PC called Compleat Enchanter. It increases the duration of many spells, including summons, but increases the cost slightly. It adds a new type of spell, too, called "maintanence spells," that cost no mana to initially cast, but only as they continue to be used. With conjuration spells, you have a choice of which approach to use in your game.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

The above suggestions will work, but I found the fastest way to level up in this skill is to find the lowest bound item (I used bound boots) and keep hittn' the "c". You can do this as you travel and you don't need to wait until the bound item returns to Oblivion to conjure the next one.
Remember, its how many times you use the skill that determines how fast you level up not the level of the spell you use.

If you have access to a spellshrine, you can make something like a Bound Gauntlets on Self for 1 second spell.
