In the ming must die quest on the level with the jade animals I'm running into the problem of enemies I've killed reappearing when I move through or by certain areas.
Is this supposed to happen? If so is there any way to prevent it? This is mostly a problem because I end up running out of ammo before the end.
Kuei-jin respawning (spoiler)

I actually thought they were supposed to re-spawn to make that bit difficult! :mischief:
That's always been my impression as well. If you try to fight your way through the main temple, you'll notice they respawn there too. Sneaking through it is easier, but if you've got a character built for combat fighting can be a lot more fun.

It does not sound like you are using the Unoffical 2.3 patch, it does and execellent job of fixing crappy situations like this, also are you using the Offical 1.2 patch?
Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.
Using the official patch but not the unoffical patch at this point.
Is the patch going to screw up any of my saves?
Yes. The unofficial patches overwrite previously existing game data, such as maps, dialogues, and scripts. This can cause many bizarre and frustrating bugs in any currently active saved games you have.

It sure seems like re-spawning, but there are instances where the dudes will pop quietly out of those paper walls. If that were true, and they were all hiding ,they would leave an empty space behind where they popped out of. Re-spawning zombies is one thing, but I don't get why it makes sense to re-spawn Kue-Jin; so I didn't want to believe it. On the last level it becomes obvious when the ones in the yellow robes keep re-appearing every other time you pass by the pedestal room. So yea, I think it was a bad idea to design it that way, but oh well.
This is why I removed it in the unofficial patch. Respawning out of rooms with no entry points is a bug to me !focused_letharg wrote:On the last level it becomes obvious when the ones in the yellow robes keep re-appearing every other time you pass by the pedestal room.
