Dispelling Web?

Post by AxeSlash »

Is there any way to dispel the actual web spell itself? I mean, Dispel Magic dispels the *effects* of a web, but not the actual web area effect itself. I can't remember seeing anything that does, but thought I'd just check.

Failing that, is there owt that I can cast on my party to negate the effects of web?

(yep, fighting the black dragon at the mo, woulda killed him long ago if it wasn't for that damned web spell).

Cheers.

items or spells with Free Action will allow you to avoid the effects of Web spells. It's been a long time since I played, so the name may be slightly different, but it's what I used to get around web and entanglement spells
Lord of Lurkers

Guess what? I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!

Yeah I was looking for something other than the free action items.

Anyway, it doesn't matter now. In the end I just equipped my PC with Arbane's sword, lured the dragon out of the web area once he'd started hitting me and then battered the hell outta him the old fashioned way :P

Worked a treat in the end, he's not nearly as hard as I first envisioned (having struggled immensely with the shadow dragon).

Thanks anyway.
