I don't know if this has ever been mentioned, I didn't see it in the strategy section. If you have Viconia in your party and if you have romanced her she will receive an extra holy symbol of Talos when you revive her in the Temple Ruins outside Umar Hills. This only works of course if she is level 25 or higher when she was taken by Bodhi but two Talos symbols makes her a formidable ally with extra strenght and extra 7th level spell. The ironic part is in ToB when you have the option to change her allignment you lose both symbols if you chose to make her a true natural.

It is possible to get several holy symbols for each cleric.
I guess you just have to level up (or was it something else ?) while not having a holy symbol.
