No, once you are in a House you can get expelled from that House but will never be allowed to join another one. There are however a few glitches in the game making it so you can actually join more than one House - do a search on these forums and you'll probably find threads about it.

You can't. :)

You can join redoran/telvanni first, then join Hlaalu, but not the other way around.

As far as I know, that glitch only works with the unpatched game or, presumably, with the Xbox version. Do correct me if I'm wrong.

@StupidIdiot,
as others have said though, this is a frequently asked question, so do check out the search button (though go to advanced so that you can limit your results to ESIII). You'll find that "Search" is your friend. :)

As DW says, please use the database search first on questions. It's amazing how much detail we maintain. :)

If you're playing on the PC, you might succeed using the console. Hit the tilde (~) key, then type:

player-> pcexpell [faction name]
player-> pcjoinfaction [faction name]

I've never tried this, so I don't know that the faction name permits houses, or just guilds. If you find it doesn't work and you're out of your house but want to get back in, type:

player-> pcclearexpelled [faction name]

Note that these commands were never approved for general use by Bethsoft. Most work fine, but at least a couple are confirmed as buggy.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

The codes work for houses but remember to put "great" house (house name).

Hmm... It didn't on my mine when I tried it... It might have been a mod issue or something, though I thought I read at some point that the patch fixed it. No worries though, with this game *anything* is possible. :D

Kill Orvas Dren, then speak to his brother about 'Cammona Tong'. He will call you the Grandmaster of House Hlaalu, but you will really be the lowest rank
