!!!!!spoilers!!!!!! caught in the hunt glitch?

ok so i got the caught in the hunt quest and finally decided to take it on. well i go through and kill all of the "hunters" inside and the quest indicator says all of the hunters are slain, proceed outside, that sort of thing. well when i go back through the run and come back outside, there are two people running about. the guy you are supposed to save and an orc. now, i can't move, equip weapons, cast magic, etc so i assume it is supposed to be a cinematic thing *but* i sat for almost 20 minutes watching these two run back and forth and nothing happens!!! i've realoaded several times, restarted my xbox, etc. does anyone know anyway to fix it, or something before hand to trigger the event? i don't want to lose my data. i'm a fairly high level and have been playing for quite some time. any help is appreciated! thanks.

The orc should kill the guy. It happened almost immediately to me.

If you have a save from before you exited the fort, reload it, even if it means doing some stuff over again.

If you don't... well... try to remember to do a proper save (not just a quicksave) before exiting and entering everywhere!

yes the orc should slay the poor guy and you can nothing do about it. yes it's a cinematic. you should only watch.after the orc has murdered your buddy, he just stays the until you walk to him a few steps. There is a archer on the upper lvl too. You have to slay the half orc and take the real key. and open the fort gate from inside the dungeon.

But if the half orc and your buddy just end the fight its a glitch may be. try a old save...
