It's the first time I am writing to any forum as normally I finish my games by myself, but this time it's really hard. Probably it's because this game is a little bit differents from usual?
Any way I am not able to kill this guy. Any tips? any suggestion?

You have to use a good hand weapon to weaken him till he drops a colored gem. Pick it up and put it on the statue. A new statue appears. Repeat this process till you've placed a total of 5 gems. Then you can get the relic from the center of the floor. Use that to kill him, it takes awhile. Even when the staff runs out of power, keep bashing him with it. When he's dead, be sure to pick up everything and identify it.
