I think you mean Spellwarrior, it's when you use mainly melee and will for combat.

A spellsword is a character that uses a combination of melee and magic.

I remember that my character could be a spellsword, though I have no idea how to tell which class is which since I don't recall ever finding class types in the stats window. If anyone can tell me how to do so, let me know.

on the personality page of the menu it will say something like 'Legendary witchhunter called Reaver' which means my character is a witchhunter.
