Mod list?

Post by Iceyx »

ordered the collectors edition(the one that comes with sword coast) of this game the other day and am going to start stockpiling mods while i wait for it. I have beaten baldurs gate 2+tob over 6 times now...I love the game. I have played through most of 1, but quit half way or more to run through 2 again. (I have baldurs gate 1, an older version.. I am a baldurs gate freak though, so ended up ordering the collectors edition for fun).

I hear there are mods out there to make baldurs gate 1 feel more like 2, which is something I would enjoy more than pretty much anything! I am not sure if I will be transfering these characters from 1 to complete 2 again for the 8thish time, but it is a possibility. So i need mods that do not harm the transfer process.

XP cap mods would be a nice addition as well, as i hear the cap in bg1 is pretty low. My characters tend to cap out early from my extreme need to not miss anything.

So with that said, anyone have a good list of mods to pre download while i wait for the game?

thanks ^^

I thought I would clarify, I am not looking for a mod list per say, I am looking for a suggestion on what mods to use and which mods to stay away from, if i want to continue on in baldurs gate 2.

To play BG1 using the BG2 engine, you will need BG1 Tutu.

In addition to the official patches, which should be in a folder on your game CDs, you should get the fixes found at Baldurdash.

You might even want to get a few other mods (e.g. Ease of Use) from Weidu
Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds. The latter cannot understand it when a person does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses their intelligence.
