Which has the better quests and rewards (In other words which one should I do?) the Ashlanders quests, or the Imperial Cult quests.
I am not cursing, I am solilquizing in a profoundly coloquial manor!

You have to do the ashlanders quests in order to be named the Nerevar and finish the game. I haven't done any Imperial cult quests yet, so I don't have an opinion of them.

The Cult is similar to the Temple and Mage's Guild. The initial quests are not that exciting, but the later quests you receive are quite interesting and net some nice rewards.

The first few cult quests are a bit tedious but stick with them and they do get better and the final set of quests are a lot better and have some very nice rewards. Just for the items alone I'd go for the Cult but in my opinion the final few quests are some of the better guild quests in the game.

i think they are both very good quests to do....

I mean the ashlander quests allow you to become famous and access to some pretty good weapons and apparel, but the imperial cult quests have very good items aswell. They are both very good butn i recommend doing the cult quests first.
So i hear that the dark brotherhood assinated an elf.
I hear you smell.

I think I'm going to go with the Temple on this one. Mainly because of the training you can recieve. And the quest are nice, sometimes, although I can hardly say doing a pilgrimage of silence is good fun.

The Imperial Cult quests are easy and tend to pay quite well (for the amount of effort taken).

Hint: Take a boat to Dagon Fel, use invisibility and levitation to get to the shrine, mark the place, get back to Vivec however you like, take the quest, then use a recall spell.
