Moonbeast

Post by gordono »

Hi all. I am new to the game, and the forum. I am playing the collectors edition, and love it.

I am trying to find the moonbeasts, and thought I knew where they were, so I went to the big Island in the middle of the lake, and looked all over the place but could not find any. Did I miss something, or was I in the wrong place to find them.

Can anyone enlighten me on this matter.
Thanks to all

Yes, the big island in the northwest of the map. You may have to just stand around several seconds in different places on the island. You only need one moonstone the entire game!

ok thanks for that. Am I correct, I go to lost lake, and get on the big island in the middle of lost lake. Is that the right thing??

So I just have to stand around and wait for them. Ok I will try it.

Thanks

They randomly spawn on the island, along with some other creatures. Depending on how you've adjusted your difficulty settings, you might have to hang out there for a while.

moonbeasts

I got 3 or 4 of them on me then ran over to the water and used my bow and arrow to kill them. They don't swim so I just sat there getting 20,000 exp every 5 minutes for like an hour....Twas very nice and I highly recommend going there if you want EASY LEVELING EVEN IF YOU'RE A WIMP AND CAN'T TAKE A HIT. (Like my wimpy Elf Mage)

moonbeasts

Yea no worries. That is exactly what I did. Got some good points. I did have to wait for a while at times, but I only had 3 on me at a time, except for one time and I had that tree trying to kill me also but took care of him and the beasts no problem.

Take care

When u reach the island and if u want 2 gain some exp .Stay at the west side near the shore there is a good spot there 2 fight thm moonbeasts ull see a tree and some rock there .If ur on the right spot ull notice the the moon beasts well only attack u one or two at a time regardless if there 8 fightin u...And if u stay at the west end only moonbeast well spawn...every now and then run 2 the shrine (a other good spot 2 make a stand ...like the othr spot better tho).....After a while the moonbeasts well have a long delay spawnin this is what i do i swim out 2 the first island ....(it is in front u can see it from the shore) and swim bac...This delay is caused by other monsters spawin on the other side of the island which are stuck that cant come 2 ur side (mostly the fishy monsters)..... when u swim out thy well find there way 2 ur side (or get lost on there way there) then the moonbeasts well start spawin again...happy hunting

:( Thanks for that. I did that. First I activate Arindale, and then went to Fargrove and did that one and tried to go back to Arindale, and it didnt do anything. I must be missing something. If you can think of anything else, please let me know.

Thanks

ok maybe I have bug.
When I activated Arindale on the left side of the window only 2 codes were there, so I went and did the same at Fargrove, but all 3 showed up, and there was also 3 for the vale of ruins. When I use the arrow on the right side of the window and click fargrove or arindale, there is still only 2 on the left for arindale. Do you have to stand in a certian place on the moonbridge or stand in frount of any particular stone?

What should I do. I have a saved game when I was on the island before I went to Arindale to activate the moon bridge. Should I just try to go back there and then do it all again?? There is no lights that come on when I activated any one.

Thanks again, let me know what you think

The only oddity I see is that you apparently have the code for the Vale of Ruin. You should only get that after travelling east from Fargrove, and my guess is that you haven't done that yet. So I'd guess you have a bug somewhere, and it's messing up your moon bridges.

Another possibility is that you didn't have a moonstone when you visited some of the moon bridges. You have to have a moonstone to activate a moon bridge.

Well I did step on the moonbridge when I first started playing the game cause I didnt know what it was.

As far as traveling from Fargrave I have done that. To get into vale of ruins you have to talk to 2 people, and I have done that, that is why the vale of ruins is there.

So what do you think I should do. Dont tell me to start the game over again from fresh. Ill have a heart attack. ha ha. Well if I cant get them to work, how do I get into the vale of ruins? That is where I am suppose to be heading to do something with some blood. Is there anyway else to get into it.

Thanks for the help

Hmmm.....well as far as i can tell u only activate 2 moon brigdes?..one in Arindale and the other in Forgrove....If so u real need 2 activate all the moon brigdes in order 4 u 2 get all the codes....so that means u have 3 more 2 go.......Forbiddin lands..east after Skulloon......Talendor..north from Galdryn's destroyed castle.......northlands ..north west from GRYMIOK'S tower
