YOUR worst moment
what i mean by this is, like if you got stuck in a fight and couldnt get out... something like that. I pissed off some people in New Reno and ended up killing everyone. I got good points. lol damn drug dealers! took me about 45 mins to get out that situation. any stories?

There was one occasion that nearly made me bite my nails off: I was at the boss fight, had two save slots, but one was pretty messed up because I found myself surrounded by Frank and the troopers, but too far away from the turrets for them to help me. Quite a hard situation to get out of... I loaded the previous savegame (the one before the fight), quicksaved every three or four turns, and just as I was about to end the fight, I got a critical hit (approximately 100 dmg) from the last trooper and got killed. I went to load the quicksave and, of course, got the message that always pops up in such occasions: "Error! Corrupt save game file!"
I nearly uninstalled the game, but I loaded that previous savegame, and somehow managed to finish the fight (cost me 50 stimpacks, 10 super stims and I had to reload 20+ times).

This game is probably the one that made me go insane most. While playing this game i started eating nails
Got the game in 1997-1998 and it took me about 3 years to finish it.
There are numerous reasons that can make you mad. One of them is those kid thieves in Den
Or the first time I got to Oil Rig, I didnt bring explosives to sabotage computers and I saved far before that.

You're not a hero -- you're just a walking corpse.
Okay, here is mine:
I once accidentaly angried the whole New Reno, and thus got to big fight. Well, usually that isn't a problem, but when considered that my char was at level 6 and I had only 9mm pistol with some ammos, I was quite overwhelmed. (btw, don't ask me what I was doing in NR with such a character... )
It took about 5 hours to escape NR. I had to use Hit 'n Run tactic...

Any point I've done lots of things and haven't saved before crashing or dying.
One of the most annoying things is when I searched one of the bookcases in Vault City and the guys spotted me and gave me a warning. Normally I thought I'd be fine as long as I didn't do it again and carried on, later on when I came back anywhere near the guy, he'd just go into combat mode. It was made worse that he was an important quest guy too.
Another frustrating moment is when in any fight the computer would just seem to take their damned long time, or even not take their turn at all and stand there for all eternity until I Alt-Tabbed and closed the program. This tends to happed to me when I'm doing the boxing matches in Reno.

Before i realised that you can set up NPC combat speed in the "Options" menu, i was attacked by one of the addicts in The Den. They are not too bad, they only have 30 or 45 hitpoints or something, but do you have any idea how many action points they have?!
He just kept hitting me and hitting me, untill i nearly died. But then it was my turn, and i had only one thing in my mind...
...Payback!
So i took a shot at him with my shotgun, and misses.
Crap...
I shoot again... And misses...
Then he hits me eleven or so more times, and kills me...
:speech: !
Every encounter with aliens. They never go after me (power suited) and always attack vic who dies before i can kill the lot of them
That's the main reason I hardly ever take NPCs with me
They tend to get in troubles which they can't deal with themselves, nor even with you...

those damn rats in klamath.omg i so much wanted a small nuke to clear them out in one blow.i usually don't mind rat-quests (the ultimatly "infamous" apprentice tests), but the one in f2 makes u wanna cheat it through.

Well, you can always try to run past them, or use the pipe riffle you can find from Vic's house...
But, even though those rats are quite annoying, killing them gives somewhat good boost on xp, IIRC you get at least one level while exploring those caves... and you also find some items which can be sold out, to gain money.

true.boost is ok,if you stumble upon Klamath when first exiting Arroyo (which is,like, 99% certain )
still,i'll be blunt and say the boredom down there aint worth the xp

Back to the original topic, worst moment, One time I was playing through and my journey took me to San Fransisco with a lv 33 char equiped with advanced power armor, a solar scorcher, and a pulse rifle. somehow down the line i pissed someone off so i had to fight my way out. i got carried away and wound up slaughtering the whole town. Not only did this ruin me finishing the game but it threw my karma so far down that i had mercs on my neck everytime i went somewhere. That sucked!!!:mischief:
ummm...this may be a stupid question and maybe the wrong place to ask it, but i'm kinda new here so what's an "exalted member"? i'm just curious cuz it's a cool title.
Well, yes, this is a bit wrong place to this, but the answer to your question can be read from here.
You would have found this by using the search function, that's why it's there after all...

One of my worst moments in Fallout 2 (although i think its a bad glitch, not a situation i got myself into) is that in Gecko certain ghouls go into combat mode if i go near them, and if they go into combat mode every other single ghoul doe aswell! And the ghouls are in the reactor so i find it almost impossible to peacefully do any quest in gecko. grrrrr.
