Can random characters suddenly turn into the Mythic Dawn cult and attack on sight? I have had this happen multiple times in public areas, including the inn in Skingrad. 2 Dark Elves.
(P.S, about the spell they cast and get the cool armour. Is it possible to learn it? It looks total kick ass!)

I don't believe I've ever seen that effect. Are you on the PC or the X-Box? I hear the X-Box version has some peculiarities.

I don't think they are random characters, as such. They are not usually NPCs you meet all the time, but new guys in town. But there IS a girl in Skingrad who is a regular NPC.....

Dunno about the spell, but once you complete the Bruma Spies quest, then yes, there will be random attacks against you from the Mythic Dawn as they know you are against them by then.
