Hard to achieve but fun to play. Everyone must try this class. Here are m'few cents about the class
Meet Rosin : Level 28 - Valkyrie + Deathlord Human Female with deathlord eqipments and primary wield shiny heavy blade + secondary katana of the sun (mw)
Fight
------
1. Side step, swing. keep moving around the horde, some may sneak behind you no problem it's time for combo, "tazmanian devil move!" they will fall soon.
2. You encounter a tough monster (firedrake for example), no problem!, shield up the fire resistant, forward jump and swing on the air, when you land in front of the mob, you probably land on 5 or more swing on, continue to swing until you get the two weapon forward attack combo, and hear the death cry of the victim.
Chests

Just bash'm. Or if you want gain some thief skills, because you will get lots of experience because of your lethal weapons
Armors and other eqs
--------------------
You can wear anything in the game with at most 2 penalty with your base stats (i am counting you will investigate strength as you progress).
Boss fights

Jump on them freeze'm with your secondary weapon (icy dwarven axe for example) and finish'm swinging your primary weapon. You cant believe how those tough monster fall so quick.
Result

Perfect class, i even did not mention about the bleeding wound ability. But i can say that even without this ability deathlord is god damn powerful

When I played deathlord, I used adept and paladin as my other two classes. Your non-marauder second tier class has to give you heavy armor and heavy shields, which limits your options.
I think my deathlord was also a dwarf. Just don't pick an urgoth if you're playing the CE since urgoths have trouble in one spot there.

i choose female character to achieve heavy armor, heavy weapon skills easily. Since Valkyrie is both a good title and also lots of learning bonuses. But some legend says that Urgoths may wear two handed massive weapons as primary and another basher secondary, i havent test it.
If you want a powerful character at the begining. Kill troll in fargrove by cutting his chains and let the guards finish'm. And also kill the elder in the trial of ancients. And when you near to kill a boss (troll or elder or any other boss) do not forget to quit game and set the monster difficulty setting to hard to get more experience(if it is not set already).
Whenever meet the requirements become a marauder, do the quest at once. And buy no-dachi from the arindale and elven bloodsword as secondary. You have a quiet war machine and raise your skills to become a mighty deathlord.
