Doing Guild Quests vs Class Quests

Post by Chowder »

I am at a point where I am getting my Class Quests in order and I would like to know one thing before I go and mess up my current game. Can I do all of the individual Guild quests without it messing up my Class Quests that I need to do. Example: I am going for Samurai and Trickster as second Classes, can I still do the Guild Quests for Mage, Adept, Sisterhood and Fighter? Or will that interfer with my desire to achieve Samurai and Trickster Classes? I have looked throught the Walkthru (which has been very helpful), but it does not actually address these questions. Looking for advice!!!

You can't go on guild quests unless you've joined the guild (except for the guild of mystery pre-initiation quest). Some guild quests also require that you have a second tier class in the guild, so there are only so many that you can do.

In your case as a samurai / trickster, you won't be able to do most of the guild quests. You'll only be able to do one Guild if Fighters quest, two Guild of Mystery quests, and the Eastern Houses quests.

Thanks for the info

I appreciate the info. In your opinion, what combination of Classes allows you to do the most Guild Quests? Just curious.... I like to do as much as possible in building a character. "The fun is in the doing".... as my old man use to say.:mischief:

The guild and class quests are all about the same, and you'll do about the same number of them for each character.

OK... Next question.

Can I do all the Class Quests in order to get the experience associated with them and then not go back to accept the class advancement?

Or will starting more than two Level 2 Class Advancement Quests, or more than one Level 3 Class Advancement Quest, mess up my game so that I cannot advance in any Class?

Once you accept a class quest, you reserve that class for your character, so you can't go on more than five class quests.
