I had to dismiss that issue because I couldn't see a problem which needed a solution
I took it as an opportunity to boost gay rights. Use a problem to give a solution to another problem.

And I try to dismiss as little issues as possible, for fun's sake. "challenge" and all that jazz.

@ Joni: crazy but fun. ;) Why don't you join? It only costs you a few minutes of your time each day!

You didn't see a problem? :speech: Methinks position 3 was the problem.

Well, I know I hated option 1 and 2 in your issue, Lestat, but geez. Those were both above and beyond dumb positions for anyone to take (I'm speaking as a non-religious anti-marriage person, so don't start, anyone). I know in the past, marriage was exactly that: 'til death do you part. But some problems transcend limits, and to ask a spouse to blindly turn their eye to their partner's behavior/attitude/actions is more likely to result in problems are more severe than divorce. Option 2 was really the dumb one; as if anyone could force love on anyone. As if anyone who called their hated spouse "darling" would even mean it, and their spouse would know they didn't. Lord, who wrote that issue?
General: "Those aren't ideas; those are special effects."
Michael Bay: "I don't understand the difference."

There are usually 2 normal and 1 wacky option (or at least that's how I judge it) and I think that in this case option 2 was the wacky one. In view of the conservative states out there it wouldn't surprise me that quite a lot of people actually chose 1.

And now I got a request to endorse the leader of the pacific region (he endorsed me and requires me to do the same)... I think I'm gonna move regions, for one reason or another this pierconum doesn't strike me as a nice fellow.

I got that too. I did not reciprocate but I did recognise a certain vague feeling of obligation. It was like a pair of mormons doorstepping you - they are being rude but they present as polite so you feel vaguely impolite if you don't talk to them. Quite a good tactic, I thought
