training dark jedi

Post by Sith Commando »

is there a way for you to train Atton, Bao-dur, and disciple to become dark jedi? because i never am able to. and i played the game through 4 times in complete darkness, and the option never came up.

Atton is pretty straightforward to make a dark jedi - just gain influence with him then when it comes to his conversation about the sith, choose all the anti-jedi answers and he'll become a dark jedi (note that before this conversation can happen you have to go to Nar Shaddaa refugee area and then talk to him about what the two twileks say to you).

For Bao-Dur and Disciple, make them into Jedi (you will need to take a few LS points to do this) then when you are DS, take them in your party when you leave the Ebon Hawk and their alignment will change to DS.

I read in the Prima strategy guide that characters could be trained to become jedi even w/ a low (very low) level of influence. This is porbably to good to be true has it would save DS players a heck of alot of trouble w/ their own alignment. I figured I'd just have to play through and see what happens. Anyone got any thoughts?

when you train your allies into jedi use all the DS evil based options to train them into Dark Jedi.....I did that and I even got Handmaiden and Disciple to be a Dark Jedi

Basically the option to train characters in the Force is determined by your influence with them, not your allignment. You must either have very high or very low influence with the characters to train them. Characters like the Disciple and Bao-Dur generally require like side choices to gain influence with them. You could however, tried bottoming out your influence instead. Keep in mind though, if you train a character this way they'd adopt an allignment opposite of yours, so if you're a darksider with terrible influence with Bao-Dur and train him in the ways of the Force, he'll become a shining example of the lightside.
